Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That should make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
