TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.

The full review, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the tab trade review bonus terms, is at TradeTheDay.
